About the Program

Jiu Jitsu

Gi Jiu-Jitsu is grappling with the use of a traditional Jiu Jitsu uniform or Gi, which allows you to grab the clothing of your opponent to control or submit them. No Gi Jiu Jitsu is without the traditional uniform, whereas instead, you wear shorts and a t-shirt or rash guard.

Wrestling

Wrestling, which is very similar to No Gi Jiu Jitsu & Judo, is a combat sport involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds.

Self Defense

There are over 600 moves in Jiu-Jitsu, but studies have shown only 36 techniques have been used with greater effectiveness than all the others combined. Our self-defense program focuses strictly on these 36 core techniques in a fun and safe environment. These classes are one hour, consisting of one standing technique and one ground technique. You can start the program at any time and participate in any class without previous experience. Since safety is our number one concern, there is no competetive sparring in the program.
